AEW Releases Jimmy Havoc And Bea Priestley
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, AEW has released Jimmy Havoc and Bea Priestley too. They both were removed from the AEW roster page on its website earlier on Thursday.
On 5 February 2019 Jimmy Havoc announced that he had officially signed with All Elite Wrestling (AEW). He debuted at Double or Nothing as a part of the pre-show battle royale for an AEW World Championship opportunity. He lasted until the final four, before being eliminated by Luchasaurus.
On 19 June it was announced that Havoc would attend counseling and rehabilitation after allegations were made that Havoc physically assaulted a fan, as well as of domestic abuse and rape. The allegations were made during the Speaking Out movement. AEW stated his employment status would be evaluated following the completion of treatment and then Havoc was released from AEW on August 13, 2020.
Priestley last appeared on the March 11 AEW Dynamite, teaming with Nyla Rose to defeat Hikaru Shida & Kris Statlander.
