The episode of WWE SmackDown proved to be fantastic. The show saw some of the best matches and segments. Roman Reigns returned and the main event segment had a shocking ending. Reigns got betrayed by Jey Uso. Also the Gauntlet match was a topic of discussion. So in this article we will take a look at the results of the episode of WWE SmackDown.

#1. Gauntlet match to land Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship contenders on SmackDown

Sheamus and Ridge Holland of the Brawling Brutes teamed up to take on The Street Profits. There was a tough fight between the two. In the end, Sheamus and Ridge Holland got the victory.

Street Profits is eliminated. Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson enter. Things seemed to be getting easier for the members of The OC. However, Sheamus hit a Brogue Kick on Karl Anderson and pinned him to eliminate him as well. LWO enters and they have a great match with the Brawling Brutes. Ridge Holland applied his finisher on Cruz del Toro and pinned LWO as well.

Hit Row enters. However, Sheamus hit Top Dolla with a Brogue Kick as soon as he arrived, and Ridge Holland was pinned to eliminate Hit Row as well. The Pretty Deadly were the last team in and they had a long match against the Brawling Brutes. In the end, Sheamus applied the Celtic Cross on Kit Wilson. However, Kitt was not a legal star, and that is why the referee did not pin him. Elton Prince hit a leg drop on Sheamus from the top rope and pinned Sheamus for the win.

Pretty Deadly celebrated after the match. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn came out to attack them and Pretty Deadly claimed the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship. Later, the current champions came running to the ring and upon seeing this, the heel stars fled.

Result: Pretty Deadly won the gauntlet match

Backstage Paul Heyman asks Roman Reigns about talking to Jey Uso. Roman looked furious and ordered Heyman to talk to Jay.

#2. io skye vs zelina vega

This match was very good. However, both the wrestlers should have been given more time. Bayley interfered and tried to distract Vega.

However, it was damaged by Io Skye. Sky looked to pin Vega with a rollup, but the referee was talking to Bayley. That's why Skye was disappointed. Vega took advantage and hit a 619 and stacked and pinned him. After the match, Bayley tried to reason with Io.

Result: Zelina Vega wins

Backstage, Bianca Blair demands a rematch from Adam Pearce for the WWE Women's Championship. However, Pearce tells Bianca to wait a bit. Blair told that she will now get the rematch on her own.

Io Skye and Bayley were chatting backstage. Meanwhile, Shotzi interferes and talks about the loss he got last week. She challenged Bayley to a match and Sky accepted the challenge on her behalf.

#3. grayson waller effect show

Grayson Waller calls out his guest Charlotte Flair and then insults Oska. He questioned Flair about becoming a 15-time Women's Champion. Charlotte Flair told that she will become champion more than 15 times.

Flair said that he has a good record against Oska. Bianca Blair interfered and told that she did not get a rematch but Charlotte returned and got a direct title match. Flair said that she had lost to Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania and she also did not get a rematch.

Bianca pointed out that she (Charlotte Flair) should have gotten the match the right way but she went on a break. Flair said that he is the champion even without the title. The Queen and EST have their own compliments. Blair said that she will be at ringside for the title match between Oska and Charlotte Flair. She will directly challenge the winner.

Backstage Paul Heyman meets with Jay Uso backstage. He tried to convince Jay and told that Jimmy had actually deliberately attacked both Roman Reigns and Jey Uso. Jay Uso said that if he comes to Bloodline, Paul Heyman will be out.

#4. AJ Styles and Mchain vs Carrion Cross and Scarlett

As soon as the match started, AJ Styles attacked Cross. Later, Meachin attacked Cross with a tag and Scarlett came to the ring and performed some great moves. Styles and Cross are legal stars again.

AJ applied a Style Clash on Carrion and was pinned. Scarlett comes and distracts AJ. Later, Scarlett slapped Styles. Meachin attacked by pulling Scarlett out of the ring. Cross got the benefit of this. He dominated and pinned Styles with a tremendous move and scored the win.

Result: Carrion Cross & Scarlett win

Backstage Paul Heyman told Roman Reigns that Jay Uso did not agree. Before Roman or Solo Sequoia could do anything, Paul fled. Solo Sequoia asks Rance about his handling of the matter. Rance refused and told that he does not need to take tension.

Got to see the backstage interview of Cameron Grimes. Meanwhile, Baron Corbin came and attacked Grimes

#5. Rey Mysterio's segment

Rey Mysterio enters and reveals that he is proud of many things. However, he is most proud of getting the chance to bring back the LWO. He introduced Santos Escobar and claimed that Santos would be the new Money in the Bank winner.

Santos said that he deserves to win the ladder match and talked about dedicating the match to Rey Mysterio. L.A. Knight interferes and shoves Rey Mysterio. He was seen brawling with the LWO members. Rey and Santos escorted Knight out of the ring.

#6. Santos Escobar vs LA Knight

This match did not last long. Both the wrestlers impressed together. At the last minute, Knight used the ropes to pin Santos. However, the LWO member countered and pinned him with a rollup and picked up the win.

After the match, Knight attacked Escobar from behind and Rey Mysterio entered. Seeing this the knight ran away.

Result: Santos Escobar wins

Jey Uso was going backstage when he met Sami Zayn. However, there was no conversation between the two.

#7. Roman Reigns segment

Roman Reigns asked the fans to acknowledge him. Jey Uso entered and Roman Reigns asked him to answer whether he (Jey Uso) is part of the bloodline or not. Jey Uso asked Roman Reigns to choose between Paul Heyman and one of them.

Roman reveals that Paul Heyman is not the Wiseman of the Bloodline, but his Wiseman. Roman Reigns said that he has been training Jay Uso for a long time to become the next Tribal Chief. Roman said that it is difficult to separate The Usos. Jimmy Uso enters and reveals that Roman is actually using Jay.

Roman Rance said that Jay could not do anything while being with Jimmy, while The Usos main evented WrestleMania while being with him. Roman pointed out that Jay cannot become Tribal Chief while staying with Jimmy. Roman asked Paul Heyman who had a problem when he made Jey Uso his right hand man. Paul took Jimmy's name. Jey Uso looked at Jimmy and questioned whether it was true, or a lie.

Jimmy told that it is true. Jay looked disappointed and told Jimmy he didn't trust him. Jey said that Jimmy is older and that is why he (Jey Uso) has always listened to his brother. Jay said that he expects such things from Roman, not Jimmy. Jey Uso said that when Jimmy was not there, he was main eventing the shows.

He told the reason for this to Roman Rance. Jay said that Jimmy is out of the bloodline and he is about to do the same. Jey suddenly applied a superkick on Roman. Jimmy and Jay team up to take out Solo. In the end, The Usos teamed up to crush Reigns with a tremendous superkick. The Bloodline is frayed.
